Hello, I’m Ashley!

Well, first of all, I am so glad you’re here! What an honor it is to be apart of your journey.

A bit about me:

I am a lover of all things nature, people, and adventure! I’m a believer in the healing power of the body, and I have a passion for discovering new ways that the body and mind work together to release tension and unwind old patterns of pain and discomfort. I started TheraMana as a way to come alongside those in need of finding balance, healing and to share what I’ve learned.

As an Oregon native, I am fascinated and in awe of the vast nature that makes up the state. I have spent countless nights sleeping under the stars, hiking and backpacking my way through the Cascades, and always trying to find a new alpine lake to jump into. Being outside is my happy place!

Although an Oregonian by birth, I spent the most formative years of my childhood in a coastal village in a rainforest in Senegal, West Africa. It was there that I first felt my calling as a healer. Living there taught me about the healing power that the earth possesses. Whether it was the medicine women who knew about plant medicine, the abundance of tropical plants, intense storms, ancient trees, or simply the earth beneath my feet, I felt connected to Nature in a meaningful way that has impacted the way I view healing. This has impacted my approach to my work, and my life in general.

After moving back to Portland, Oregon and graduating from high school, I decided to hop on a plane to Hawaii to attend a small private college on the island of Maui. Hawaii is where I began the deep inner healing that I needed, and also where I grew to understand the importance of the mind-body connection.

Fast forward over 10 years, I had moved back to the Portland area, and found myself dealing with grief, chronic back pain, systemic inflammation, and a great need for healing. After years of searching for answers, I finally found balance and relief through intuitive massage therapy, and discovered a deeper mind-body connection. I started to incorporate this into my self-care. As I did this, I not only began to heal my own body, but I realized my calling to help others on their own path. As I healed myself, I became a healer.

After moving to Bend in 2020, I made a leap of faith, heading down a new career path and went back to school. I attended Sage School of Massage and Esthetics in Bend, OR, and have been practicing in Bend ever since.

I am passionate about helping people get out of chronic pain, find balance, feel completely held in unconditional love, and reconnect to themselves and their body’s healing ability. I specialize in manual lymphatic drainage, therapeutic deep tissue, and relaxation. My style is slow and attuned, and I love to learn from my clients and offer education when needed. I love to partner with clients.

It has been my life’s greatest work and joy to have this career. It is truly an honor to get to partner with you on your unique healing journey and I can’t wait to meet you!
